Mac Espresso was the very first blend created at Terbodore's roastery in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, and it is still one of their signature blends. It is a layered dark roast coffee with a balanced, clean flavour profile and a subtle sweetness. You will find it in our coffees, teas and hot chocolates range, alongside other small South African makers.

Ready-Ground for Filter

This bag comes ground for filter brewing, so it can go straight into a drip filter machine or a pour-over cone with no grinder needed. "Espresso" is part of the blend's name rather than the grind.

A Blend, Not a Flavoured Coffee

Despite the caramel on the tasting notes, Mac Espresso is one of Terbodore's blends, not one of their flavoured coffees, and Terbodore adds no sugar or sweetener to its blends. The caramel character and gentle sweetness come from the beans and the dark roast.

About Terbodore Coffee Roasters

Terbodore began in 2004 with a small roastery in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. Founder Marian Macaskill named it after the farm she grew up on near Worcester, and the family now roasts in Howick and Franschhoek.
