Wedgewood has been making soft honey nougat in Merrivale, KwaZulu-Natal since 1999, when Gilly Walters perfected a recipe inspired by the Montpellier nougat she discovered while living in France. Her family still makes it on the Wedgewood farm in 32 hands-on steps, with roasted nuts and golden honey - no automated machines and no artificial ingredients. In this box, macadamia honey nougat is enrobed in Belgian milk chocolate and wrapped piece by piece.
