The story behind the bar

Wedgewood began in 1999, when Gilly Walters started making soft honey nougat in her kitchen in Merrivale, KwaZulu-Natal, inspired by the Montpellier nougat she had tasted while living in France. The nougat is still made by hand in 32 steps, with roasted nuts and golden honey, and every piece is packed on the Wedgewood farm.
