Ma Mère's Festive House is a small cream and gold box shaped like a house, with gold roof tiles, windows and a ribbon-tied front door. Inside are three pistachio shortbread balls, each stuffed with Ma Mère's festive nougat, so every bite is buttery shortbread on the outside and soft nougat in the middle. It is a tiny bundle of Christmas cheer that arrives ready to give.

Ma Mère began in a home kitchen in 2011 and still makes its sweets by hand in Cape Town, the slow, traditional way. The Festive House is Halaal certified.
