Wedgewood Nougat was founded in 1999 by Gilly Walters in her Merrivale, KwaZulu-Natal kitchen, inspired by the Montpellier nougat she discovered while living in France. The recipe is still made today in 32 hands-on steps - no automated machines and no artificial ingredients - using roasted nuts and golden honey.
