Urchin Art 'Tjie' Mugs

Enjoy a Cuppa with Urchin Art 'Tjie' Mugs

Add a touch of South African charm to your daily routine with these delightful 'Tjie' mugs from Urchin Art. Each mug is lovingly handmade in Cape Town and finished with a small gold heart.

In Afrikaans, adding "-tjie" to a word makes it small and affectionate, so a koffietjie or a teetjie is a quick, cosy cuppa, usually one shared with someone you like. That homely little word is what makes these mugs such a warm gift.

Quirky Designs for Tea or Coffee Lovers

Choose between two charming designs, "Koffietjie" and "Teetjie", perfect for adding a touch of personality to your morning coffee or afternoon tea. Each mug is sold on its own, so pick one for the coffee or tea lover in your life, or one of each for a coffee-and-tea pair.

• Handmade with love in Cape Town, South Africa.
• Finished with a small gold heart for a touch of elegance.
• "Koffie tjie" or "Tee tjie" in bold black lettering on a glossy white glaze.
• A wide, cosy stoneware shape with a comfortable loop handle.
• Perfect for gifting or adding to your own collection.
