Schoonhuid Lip Scrub and Lip Butter, Handmade in the Karoo

Schoonhuid makes its bath and body range by hand, using locally sourced ingredients that the maker traces back to their origin. The name comes from the Afrikaans for "clean skin". Choose the lip scrub, the lip butter, or both. The maker's own tip is to finish the scrub with a Schoonhuid lip butter.

Lip Scrub - Citrus (20g)

An exfoliating sugar lip scrub in a base of sunflower, avocado and jojoba oils, with shea butter, beeswax and vitamin E. It gently buffs away dry, flaky skin and leaves your lips ready for a balm.

Lip Butter (10g)

A rich lip butter made with beeswax, shea and cocoa butters, avocado and olive oils, and vitamin E. Smooth a little over your lips whenever they feel dry, or straight after the scrub.

How to Use

Use the lip scrub two to three times a week. Scoop out a tiny amount and massage it very gently over your lips in small circles, then wipe it away with a damp tissue. Finish with the lip butter.

Good to Know

Both contain beeswax, so they are not vegan, and both are flavoured with food-grade flavouring.
