Cape Island Heritage African Denim, a Scent Inspired by Shweshwe

African Denim is part of the Heritage range from The Fragrance Room, a South African family of home fragrance brands that also includes Cape Island. Heritage was created to share Africa's deep and meaningful history, with each scent built around a traditional pattern. African Denim is a tribute to shweshwe, the print woven into African history and traditionally worn by Xhosa women, and today celebrated across all cultures as one of Africa's most beloved prints.

The Fragrance

Fresh and uplifting, African Denim pairs refreshing lime with sun-warmed coconut and finishes with a subtle hint of vanilla.

• Top notes: sun-warmed coconut, sea salt and refreshing lime
• Heart notes: white flowers, plum and tolu balsam
• Base note: relaxing vanilla

Choose Your Format

• Scented Candle 250ml: hand-poured in South Africa from a soy wax blend with a single cotton wick and perfume-grade fragrance oils from Grasse, France. It burns for approximately 35 hours, and the glass can be rinsed and reused once the candle is finished.
• Diffuser 200ml: the larger size, lasting approximately 6-8 weeks.
• Diffuser 100ml: a smaller size for a bathroom, study or bedroom, lasting approximately 4-6 weeks.
